Marian and Catholic Cathedral College SVDP Action Group.

A group of pupils from Years 7-13 at Marian and Catholic Cathedral College have formed a relationship with Age Concern Canterbury. Members from Age Concern arrive at Marian College to be treated to music, food and a listening ear. Pupils from both schools are matched with an individual who welcome and accompany their guest to morning tea. It provides an opportunity for the pupils to interact with their guests and enjoy their company.

This was the first morning tea this year and more are planned for the rest of the year. Both schools are involved in this initiative as "Young Vinnies is beyond our single school culture, it is our Christian/Catholic belief that encourages us to do things like that".

Below are photos from this event. Well done to Antje Duda and Abina Pope for organising this wonderful event.
